MICROPHONE CLUB: WHERE GREAT VOICES MEET
Our voice… the most powerful and miraculous human instrument. Other sounds may be louder, but the voice has the power to convey messages that can move, shake or shape the world.
It is so powerful that other people’s livelihoods have been built around its use. That’s us… voice actors, hosts, voice overs, broadcasters, preachers, trainers, and more.
Because of the freelance, project-based setup of our profession, there needs to be a concerted effort to create a venue where these talents can converge to set the standards within the industry. More importantly, there needs to be a solid support group to exchange best practices, share projects and opportunities, and even to simply be a hub to meet and greet.
With this in mind, the Microphone Club was born.
The Microphone Club is a non-profit, member-driven association of Filipino voice actors, hosts, voice overs, broadcasters and other voice talents designed to advocate the highest ideals and practices of the industry. Our mission is to encourage, develop and promote the artistic, professional and economic success of freelance professional voice actors in the Philippines. We support training and mentoring to new and aspiring spectrum of skills – from developing and taking care of the voice, interpreting scripts, all the way up to marketing your talents and client relations. The Microphone Club is also a hub where ideas, opportunities and knowledge are shared for the benefit of its members, and consequently the industry.
Microphone Club aims to standardize proper use of the voice personally and professionally.
