About This Vendor
Ia Coca is the creative director behind his eponymous brand. He completed his certification as a medical technologist from Velez College before pursuing a course in fashion at the Fashion Institute of Design and Arts, Cebu, where he graduated top of his class and was awarded the school’s accolade, Designer of the Year 2016.
Ia Coca’s main passion is creating. He embraces the challenge of designing any style required for the job at hand. He believes that good design is more than a beautifully drawn sketch, but a collaborative effort between the designer and the client.
During his tenure, Ia Coca has not only created garments for many brides and debutantes, but has dressed up celebrities and diplomats. His designs have been featured on the pages and covers of local and national fashion magazines like Preview, Spotted Magazine, Wonder Mag PH, and Zee Lifestyle, among others.
His recent achievements include listed in SunStar Cebu’s 40 under 40, winning StyleFest Ph for Zalora 2019 in Manila, earning the coveted title of Designer of the Year at Brisbane Fashion Runway 2018 in Australia and representing the Philippines at World Fashion Week 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
