About This Vendor
Dedicated to Saint Therese de Lisieux, the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus was once a makeshift chapel in Villamor Air Base in 1947. It was constructed by Rev. Jose Alberto, the first ever military chaplain assigned in the Philippine Air Force, with the vision of the church becoming a center of devotion to Saint Therese in Asia. The Shrine’s unique design was primarily influenced by the Reliquary of St. Therese. Just like most shrines, it has a long nave and two shorter transepts, which are common in most shrines. Its classical contemporary architectural style and its 50-meter long aisle are two of the many reasons it is an ideal place to say your wedding vows.
