About This Vendor
A Chinese parish established to help the Binondo parish serve the growing Filipino-Chinese community in Manila, the St. Peter the Apostle Church in Paco was created in 1954 with approval of the Sacred Roman Consistorial Congregation. However, the original Roman Catholic church that later bore this name was first called St. Joseph’s at the time. Luckily for those who wanted get married in the area, from a personal parish, it became a territorial parish to serve the geographical needs of the Paco, P.M. Guanzon, and Quirino area in 1986. In 2002, a new St. Peter the Apostle Church was finally finished with an exterior of modern Gothic and it was blessed by Jaime Cardinal Sin a year later.
