The Manila Cathedral not only serves as the see of the Archbishop of Manila, but as one of the most coveted wedding venues in Manila for couples who want a wedding venue to symbolize their love for each other.This 444 year-old historical site, which undergone preventive repairs in 2012, is decked with beautiful black marble flooring, charming brickwork, and an improved central nave and vaulted ceiling that captures Spanish architecture elements.
The Manila Cathedral offers wedding packages starting at P42,000 with air conditioning (P32,000 without air-conditioning), including lighting of the cathedral’s romantic chandeliers. The parish office expects a down payment of P10,000 to reserve the date, and will require couples to comply with additional requirements as needed such as foreigner or non-Catholic bride or groom’s proof of inquiry from the Chancery Office of the Archdiocese of Manila, for example.
