Formerly known as the Holy Family Chapel, this church in Eastwood City is becoming a popular wedding church choice in Manila because of its location and the venue’s ability to provide intimacy in an urban setting. The church’s gray exteriors may look simple for one’s taste, and relies on its nameplate, the iconography and the three interconnected entrance arches to define the venue. Inside, however, is breathtaking, with the cream marble floors open up to a three-panel altarpiece featuring the statue of the Holy Family.
Parking may not be a problem for guests, as they can easily avail paid parking spaces inside Eastwood Libis. Couples can book their wedding at Blessed John Paul II for P20,000, which includes the ceremony basics. However, they may want to have their wedding during weekdays due to traffic. The management may also turn down couples wishing to get married near or during major holidays like the Lenten season.
